Under the World Smart Capital license the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area is obliged to host the WSC Framing events. In addition to the WSC Framing Events, various activities and events will be planned by the Amsterdam Pilot City Board for the years 2012|2013.
To be able to set up the total program of WSC Framing Events and local or regional additional projects and events the Amsterdam Pilot City Board will consist of the right members to manage the selection and execution of the projects and events.
Each project and event will have its own project management and individual budget, with or without funding from governmental or corporate sponsoring.
The WSC Framing Events are mandated events, to be organized by the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area under the umbrella of the World Smart Capital concept.
During the planning and execution of the project, the Amsterdam Pilot City Board will work in conjunction with government officials, stakeholders, partners and advisors to identify and/or develop projects and events, each ranging in scope and size, and developed with specific objectives to address local, regional, national or international audiences, as well as public and/or private sectors.
The Amsterdam Pilot City Board has complete autonomy to implement the individual projects and events as deemed necessary.
Unlike these individual projects and events, the WSC Framing Events are partnership events that are developed, organized, and implemented in close collaboration between the World Smart Capital Initiative and the Amsterdam Pilot City Board.
